Local interprocess communication in C #?

What is the easiest way to implement lan interprocess communication? I need the process on machine A to be locked until the process on machine B just sends it the msg string

I don’t know if it is worth building an entire WCF project.

What are you saying?

Go WCF.

Why create something yourself when there is this excellent library? WCF may be exactly what you need out of the box. It supports the synchronous blocking calls you need.

Do yourself a favor and study it, you will not regret it.
