Get the coordinates of a drop event in Javascript?

Question

I created a javascript library that allows me to drag a marker from dragzone into one or more dropzones.

The problem is that the mouseup event happens on the marker that I am dragging, there is no te dropzone.

How can I determine in which zone the marker was shot and in what coordinates?
