Question

I always wondered how software such as iTunes, Winamp, etc., can create its own interface.

How is this done on the Windows platform? Is there any code on the web explaining how to create my own user interface?

WinAmp usually does not provide its own graphical interface - it delegates this to the skin. You can download dozens of examples, and if the memory has not worked out especially well for me, the documentation is also easily accessible.
