Visual Studio 2008: setting default vertical separation in wpf designer

I prefer vertical split to horizontal split in the wpf VS2008 designer.
But after deleting .suo (fresh check, new project, etc.) This parameter is gone.
Is there a way to tell visual studio the default is vertical separation instead of horizontal for the wpf designer?
I can not find anything in the "options". Did I skip this setting?

Unlike an HTML designer , there is currently no way in Visual Studio (!) To make vertical separation by default in a XAML design: see here . You will always have to install it manually for each file. These settings will actually be saved in the .suo file. Unfortunately, this applies to both Visual Studio 2008 and 2010. You can request removal of this discrepancy in the next version here .
