MS Access Team Development

We plan to redesign a fairly large MS Access application. Is there a way to work in one application, or can I combine two separate instances of the same file (not data, but forms and code). Access now contains data, but in a future version, MySQL will host data, and Access will only be an interface (via ODBC).
