Top Margin at LaTex

Now I am writing a thesis, which should have 1 and a half inches on the left or on the obligatory side and 1 inch on the other three sides.

I just checked my printout at the binding office, and I was told that the margins were out of order, especially that the above was not enough, just under 1 inch. See the picture below:

I wonder which teams are responsible for the fields on four sides, especially for the top? I provide links to two files that, in my opinion, control the format and format of the dissertation: jhu12.clo and thesis.cls .

Or instead of modifying LaTex files, are there some settings when printing a PDF file to control these fields on the printout?

Thanks and all the best!

EDIT:

This is a printout of the command \ layout

alt text

It shows "one inch + \ voffset" for the top (item No. 2). But the binder office staff uses its ruler to show that it is less than 1 inch. How to set up fields in LaTex then?

Thank!

Look at the layout package , which displays a page with all current margin sizes.

Microsoft will not let me see the contents of your files, but the icons were good. ;-). The top margin is usually set to '\ topmargin', and by default it is 28pt.

, backend -. , "" . - . 15 , , , 4.
