Crop ads in sharepoint

In sharepoint, when you post a long cancellation, webpart truncates it to the first two lines, but saves any links in html.

I am trying to create my own web part that truncates long text and wants to reuse this functionality. Does anyone know where it is in sharepoint libraries?

What makes the ads trimmed is the specific line in the tag <ListViewXml />inside the code of the webpage on the page:

<Limit Len="250" MoreText="..." AutoHyperLink="TRUE" AutoNewLine="TRUE"><Column Name="Body"/></Limit>

These properties are displayed in the SPQuery class , and you can search for the property AutoHyperLink.
