I came across a really strange error in FF3.5.9 (and possibly below) when it moves the input: text under the input: send. The strangest thing about this is that it works on IE6 / 7/8, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox 3.6. Here is a test page so you can see how it is laid out: http://paste-it.net/public/s6479e6/
I can fix this problem for FF3.5.9 by adding padding-bottom (15px), but this then crashes other browsers.

vertical-align:middle
, firefox 3.5 , "line-height: normal! important", / .
line-height - same height as input? if not, try and install it.
eg:
input[type="text"] { height: 50px; line-height: 50px; }
