We are working on adding some Facebook Connect features to our website. Part of their requirements for FB Connect requires the addition of several additional xmlns attributes to the html element. We are probably going to have 5 or 6 of our custom attributes at the time of completion, and I want to know if this will affect our page performance. That is, will they be additional resources that the browser must download?
I checked in Firebug and I don’t see any additional requests, but I don’t know if this is because the requests are not being executed by the browser, or if Firebug just does not track them.
