I want to know how long the svn tortoise has kept a history of changes. Say I have a file that I deleted from the repository through a repo browser a year ago, can I still restore this file?
If I can recover, I also want to know how the method permanently deletes the previous copy of the file and the associated change history so that no one can access this file in the future. Is it possible? I had problems in my organization, as I often did updates and deletions, assuming the file was permanently deleted. Now the repository file system is bloated. Please suggest how to fix this.
