Google Earth drawing string that takes into account the curvature of the globe

I want to draw some lines that will follow either longitude or latitude, but it does not take into account the curvature of the globe.

How would I do that? I am using KML.

In KML, if you want the line to be snapped to the ground, you must set "altitudeModeEnum" to "clampToGround" and archive 1 (true).

<LineString id="myLine">
  <tessellate>1</tessellate>
  <altitudeMode>clampToGround</altitudeMode>
</LineString>

Use Gdal to draw a line layer, and ogr2gor (same site) to convert the layer to kml
