JBOSS Security: web.xml vs jboss-web.xml

What is the relationship between web.xmland jboss-web.xml? It seems that:

  • Jboss-web.xml
    • indicates a security domain (which can be found in login-config.xml)
  • web.xml
    • determines the level of security

I do not understand what happens when jboss-web.xml indicates a weak security domain. That is: one that cannot do what web.xml points to. What happens then?
