Greetings - Fighting a three-level menu css.
Works well in FireFox and Opera for Mac, but in Chrome and Safari the third level “sticks” or “freezes” like a watermark after moving the cursor.
I tried a few different things with no luck.

I cut off everything else, so this is just a css and html menu.
(PS. There are only three levels of archeology, hominins and the environment)
