LazyInitializationException when added to a list that is stored in an entity class using sleep mode and gilead for gwt

That's right, so I work with hibernate gilead and gwt to save data about website users and files. my users have a list of file locations. I use annotations to map my classes to a database. I get org.hibernate.LazyInitializationExceptionwhen I try to add file locations to a list that is stored in a custom class.

this is the method below that is redefined from the external file upload servlet that I use. when downloading a file, it calls this method.

user1 is loaded from the database elsewhere. an exception occurs at user1.getFileLocations().add(fileLocation);. I don’t understand this at all. any help would be great. error stack trace below

Lazy means that collection values ​​are loaded from the database only when they are available. If it Sessionwas closed at this time , it is LazyInitializationExceptiondiscarded because data cannot be retrieved.

In your case, I just suggest adding an impatient sample type to the association:

@ManyToMany(cascade = CascadeType.ALL, fetchType=FetchType.EAGER)

This will load fileLocationswhen the object loads, and no lazy loading will be needed.
