Are server and client channels available only for channels that can have more than one instance?

I cannot find a way to get other types of channels, for example. sending channel to be multiple instances. Nothing has been fixed with this. I assume that only communication channels can have multiple instances. Is it correct?

Channels that can have multiple instances include channels used by clients (MQI channels) and channels used by QMgr channels (MCA), which are incoming types — RCVR, RQSTR, and CLUSRCVR. MCA outbound channels (SDR, SVR, CLUSSDR) are associated with one remote destination and must be uniquely named.
