How to make multiple instances of RCVR, RQSTR and CLUSRCVR channels in WMQ?

This is a continuation of the question below, but it deserves another question.

Are there communication channels with the server and client only for channels that can have more than one instance?

As far as I understand, the receiver (or cluster receiver) usually connects to one channel of the sender (or sender). How can one side be one instance and the other side multiple instances?
