IoC from start to finish

I am absolutely sure that IoC is the way to go for my application. There are many articles and even issues that discuss various containers. Today I read several blogs with partial examples. I personally tend to start with CommonServiceLocator and Unity as two ways to solve the same problem. I just need an assembly group to retrieve data from a database, which I believe is what needs to be entered everywhere.

I have not yet found sites that really take the problem from beginning to end, with specific code examples. For example, I have not yet found one that discusses IServiceLocator and how to register it (or do whatever it takes to report it).

None of the examples provide an end-to-end application example, but together they provide a complete diagram.
