What happens with NCurses and OS X 10.6?

Apparently libncurses ... dylib is broken by OS X 10.6.3 regarding Mutt and possibly other applications that use ncurses, although it works in 10.6 (as I can confirm), and it is reported to work in 10.6. 2.

Does anyone know if this is a bug or feature in Apple's view? If there is a function, is there a workaround for people who want to update 10.6 ... but also want to use, for example, Mutt?

thank

As your post is quite rare in the details, I think you are talking about an error in ncurses that violates the way the arrows go? (And may exit the program when you try to use arrows as a side effect)
