500 Internal Joomla Server

I have changed the file permissions for all my files and directories on my Joomla site and I get an internal server 500 error.

What file permissions should be.

What should be the correct permissions configuration file.

You should be ok with the permission settings set to 755.

Also, make sure there is no problem if you installed the file .htaccess.
