Visual Studio 2008 devenvstores a list of projects for which one responded Load project normallyin the Security Warning forProjectName ... dialog box The ProjectName project file has been customised and could present a security risk by executing custom build steps...in the registry:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\MSBuild\SafeImports
Is there any way, for example, to add an entry to the white list of wildcards and / or disable this security warning on a global basis (ideally, on the VS Tools | Options dialog page)?
PS For bingoogleability: - OR HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\VisualStudio\9.0\MSBuild\SafeImports
PS I think VS2010 heals this, and there is a problem with the communications of the VS2005 era, when people are going to make msbuild signeable files, etc., but now I'm at 08.
(NB) There are two or two questions that ask about untrusted locations and strange startup directories. This is not a difficult case - I add one normal unlocked .csproj to a regular unlocked .sln that happens with Import something from the same normally resolved directory tree structure. I'm only interested in this simplest case of this condition.)
