As far as I understand, Firefox does not support H.264 encoded video using a tag. I was told that Flash will be pretty happy to handle such content, but I have no experience with Flash and I do not have access to the Adobe Creative Suite. I develop primarily for users of Firefox and transcoding our video content to OGG will not be practical. What are my options?
You can develop a very simple application with Adobe Flex using their free SDK. Flex is much easier for programmers than the Flash IDE. No need for CS.
