Keep your Windows Mobile 6 Phone Alive

Question

I am making an application for Windows Mobile 6.1 Pocket PC (touch screen). I know when the Pocket PC screen turns off, it goes into standby mode, and applications pretty much stop in the background. My application cannot do this. He must keep going. So my question is: how can I keep the phone in order (the backlight is on) until my application runs?

An example of this would be video streaming applications such as Youtube. He holds the phone while playing a video.
