I have a universal app targeted at 10.5 and that uses garbage collection. I am creating for ppc, i386 and x86_64.
I don’t have access to the physical PowerPC machine, so I’m trying to use Rosetta to verify that part of the PowerPC application is working properly.
However, as soon as the application is launched in Rosetta, it will immediately fail with the following crash log:

I used Apple documents to debug translated applications and the information on this page to attach gdb to the application when it is running in Rosetta, the application immediately enters the debugger at startup:
