Inserting or updating a column conflicts with a rule entered by a previous CREATE RULE statement

I am working on an online game. I am having problems entering new data into a table. I get

2010-4-8 2:14, 37000, 513, [Microsoft] [ODBC SQL Server Driver] [SQL Server] Insert a column or update conflicts with a rule based on a previous CREATE RULE statement. The application has been discontinued. The conflict occurred in the database "KN_online", table "ACCOUNT_CHAR", column 'strAccountID'., 261 NationSelect

in magazines. What does it mean? How can i fix this?

I tried to delete RULE for my DB, but I cannot delete RULE. I getthe rule 'dbo.unallowedchars' cannot be dropped because it is bounded to one or more clumn.

I installed all the rights, but still does not work .. thanks ..

Do you want to:

a) Understand why someone bound the rule in the first place. If you do not know why this rule exists, I would suggest a little investigation before proceeding. Are you going to break another area of the application by entering inappropriate characters?

b) Use the sp_unbindrule stored procedure (2008 reference, but applies equally well to 2000) to cancel a rule from a column.
