I recently toured the various gui modules for Perl, and here is my summary (disclaimer: I eventually found that none of the existing modules met my needs, so I started writing my own gui toolkit).
Tk - Decent to work, and the interface is very customized. Gui itself is a bit dated and does not take advantage of the built-in widgets of the operating system (for example, filepickers). On most systems, this will require a C compiler.
