Redis timeout with predis

Question

I am using redis with php (predis at http://github.com/nrk/predis/ ) and am experiencing a frequent timeout. The stack trace shows:

This happens sequentially, and I have no idea why. Does anyone have an idea?

I think that because of idle connections, Redis closes by default.

redis.conf

# Close the connection after a client is idle for N seconds (0 to disable)
timeout 0

There is an unconfirmed error in the Redis Issues List , try updating Redis to the latest version and see if the problem persists.
