How cookies are sent to the website

After entering the username and password on the website, the cookie is stored on your computer. Your computer then sends the information from this cookie to the website whenever you view another page on this website so that the website knows who you are.

How is cookie information sent? Does the browser include cookie information in the html address?

The browser sends an HTTP request (http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616.html) , which includes the URL, the request method (GET, POST, etc.), cookies, and a whole bunch of other things . Here is the request from my browser to this SO page:
