Which one would you recommend for a beginner transitioning from ado.net?

Which one would you recommend to a beginner migrating from ado.net? ... Until now, ado.net stored procedures have been used with asp.net and now they want to move with orm .. Any suggestion ..

NHibernate is good, but ORM requires a bit more configuration (although fluent NHhibernate is pretty good).
