How does IProgressMonitor pause?

How can I add a pause button to IProgressMonitor as an eclipse. I found only the altar button. It works correctly, but I need to pause.

It is not available through the interface . The only thing that can be done is setCancel (), and even this does not guarantee 100% that the task will be canceled. Tasks can only be canceled if the actual job supports / and can cancel.
