What happens to the server request if the client suddenly closes its connection

If I have a page that takes some time to process, and suddenly the client closes this connection (network disconnection, browser is closed, etc.), what will happen with server-side processing? Will it be canceled automatically or will it continue processing and then stop right before rendering?

It continues processing until something reports that the client has disconnected and calls Response.End (). You can verify yourself using the Response.IsClientConnected property .
