How to access subversion server remotely

I just installed the VisualSVN server on my home computer yesterday and I can access my ok repositories on localhost, but when I try to access it remotely, it will not connect. Should I configure something else or is it impossible?

I use https: // servername / svn as the URL of my browser, and the home computer is behind the router. This is for personal use only.

thank

Are you sure you have a working name resolution for servernamewhen not at home? For remote access to work, you will need at least:

  • IP- , RFC1918, 192.168.X.X, .
  • ; DNS, .
  • , https (TCP/443).
  • , IP- , .
