Animate tray icon during processing

How can I animate the tray icon while processing the main application? I already tried the suggestion here , but the icon is not animated during the process. I also tried putting the animation in a separate thread, but still no luck.

CodeProject has a great example of a SystemTrayNotifyIcon with an event generator .

I watched this project before, but did not use it, due to my artistic inability, but the above example works well.
