What a good book, or a good way to learn HTML, XHTML, and CSS? I recently graduated from high school and I only know Java and C ++.

I would like to learn some web development, so I am looking for good books and resources.

If you ask me what kind of introductory level book you could find in your public library for html or css or "web programming", this is a great place to start working with books. Typically, these kinds of books are a bit "out of date" because you are likely to find something that is not the latest version of HTML, but for the most part very few parts of the HTML specification are outdated or removed from version to version, so all that you learn from a little outdated books, as a rule, it still exists, but
