Is TFS effective for large teams and SVN for small teams?

I am an open source SVN lover. We are in a company in a situation that must decide between SVN or Team Foundation Server. I am trying to convince others to use SVN because I think TFS is improving in large teams. We are only 7 developers and 3 testers. Am I right about that?

Well, TFS is much more than version control. If you are only looking for version control, TFS is too expensive. IMHO. I would stick with SVN. However, if you are looking for things like a test suite, release management, etc., I would look at TFS.
