ASP.NET MVC jQuery: Shoud worries us a lot of jQuery / javascript in the view?

We are moving from WebForms to MVC and using a lot of jQuery.

It seems we have a lot of jQuery / JavaScript in our Views, whether this is common and there are some security issues. The obvious step is to refactor to plugins and more general UserControls, etc., but this jQuery will still be "visible" if you look at js files, etc.

We still check everything on the server side, but should we be bothered?
