Where can I get the source code for applications on the Android emulator?

I have two questions:

• I was very interested, even intrigued by the Maps application on the Android emulator. Where can I get the source code?

• There is a map editor on the Android Market; it cannot be loaded into the emulator. But then again, where can I find the source code for this?
