Newbie question: creating a custom control

Question

I have an ASP.Net site where I use ListView with Datapager. Apparently there is an error with the Datapager where it crashes if there is an empty ampersand (&) in the querystring. I see that there is a workaround, but did not understand how to implement it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

In addition, I see that this problem is marked as resolved. Any idea where I can find an updated version of this control?
