WCF has a localization mechanism that allows localizing errors returned to the client through the FaultReasonText object, which is part of the error.
How this is done, you pass all possible translations of the error message inside the collection to FaultReasonText. This, I understand, is based on SOAP v1.2.
Does anyone really use this mechanism? Isn't that wasteful in terms of bandwidth? Why do you send all possible translations to a client who is (possibly) interested only in a particular language?
