I had a problem with mixing light and heavy components in java.
Heavy weight and light mixing problem
Offered me a solution (outside of stackoverflow), was that to set the system properties sun.awt.noerasebackground, and sun.java2d.noddrawto true.
I want to know which side influences this change, perhaps my swing-based java application (which works in WinXP and has many swing components).
What problems can arise? Could there be an impact on performance? Can another stop working?
