Programming viewing a surveillance camera in .net

Question

I am trying to create an application for viewing analog surveillance cameras in .NET. Something along the line of Zoneminder . Just wondering if there is any api available or where should I look in the .NET framework? I am not an expert in image processing. Thank.

It looks interesting . This is not in C #, but it should be easy enough to port it to C # using one of the online converters.
