Are there Phen-Wise comparisons for the Chi-Square test in R?

I am wondering if there is a package / function in R for executing: "Comparative comparisons on a pair for the Chi-square criterion of homogeneity of proportions" (or its equivalent), which is described here: http://epm.sagepub.com/cgi/content/ abstract / 53/4/951

My situation is to just do a chi test, on matrix 2 on X. I found the difference, but I want to know which of the columns is “responsible” for the difference.

Thanks Tal
