Strange graphics in matplotlib when zooming

Question

I get a histogram image in matplotlib that looks great. Now I understand that I need a log scale along the y axis, so I just add the code:

ax.set_yscale('log')

but then, the histograms of the bars disappear and I get only some sparse dots, you know what could be the reason?

Use the keyword argument instead log=True. This is the FAQ in matplotlib user list :)
