Update panels do not work after conversion from VS 2005 to VS 2008

I updated to the latest version of AjaxControlToolkit, but it still does not work. For example, UpdatePanel works for the first time, but never hits my endrequest handler.

I had a similar problem. I replaced the scriptManager elements in the ToolKitScriptManager page and got the job done. ToolkitScriptManager can be found in ajax dll.
