I have set custom errors in webconfig and it works fine for .aspx pages. But I'm trying to handle .htm or .html or .pdf errors (mostly not found). Understand that research in .dll extensions is not suitable for performance (is this true even if you have almost no .htm pages?) So, I went into IIS and set the user error page to the page I created and it will be redirected . But it works fine in FireFox, but IE gives me a standard 404 white page. I deleted all the browser history settings and still the same. Help would be greatly appreciated. (I assume that as soon as I post, will I also have to edit user errors on the โpublishedโ website?)
