What is a wrapper service in SOA?

I browsed the web, but I am confused as to whether the wrapper service wraps an outdated application or a set of complex services.

Update: Judging by the responses received, the SOA does not have an accepted definition for a wrapper service, and after further investigation, I realized that wrapper services depend on who defines it. I mean in the context of Oracle.

Perhaps the whole point of SOA is that everything is a wrapper. That is, a web service is just a facade, and there is no way to find out if it goes to an "outdated application" or a "set of complex services."

Wrapper services are a group of one or more web services that encapsulate the logic of another module, so a single module can interact with another module with minimal integration problems.
