I turned on caching in IIS 6 for all of our static images and CSS (by right-clicking on these folders in IIS and turning on Content Exiration after 30 days in the HTTP Headers section ).
When I launch Google PageSpeed and look at the resources tab, the state of these images and css is displayed as 200, but I was expecting 304 (has not been changed). When I checked Yahoo.com on Pagespeed, all of its images have a status of 304. So, my caching does not work? or this is how IIS content expiration works.
Any help would be appreciated.
