Safari and z-index problem

I don’t know if this is a classic safari 4 error, but apparently many people cannot correctly display content without flash memory (div, image, etc.) over flash animations. I tried everything: wmode (transition from "opaque" to "transparent"), z-index and many other "cheats" div.

Does anyone know if there is a safari 4 / script patch / trick to fix this problem?

Thank you very much! Respectfully.

this error only affects a certain combination of osx, flash-plugin and webkit version (since both safari and chrome are affected in different versions)

I had the same problem with the strobe media player in safari. I changed the wmode = opaque option and it works fine.
