I think it depends entirely on your needs. Keybindings have some limitations that event handlers do not have. For example, when binding keys, you must have a key and a key modifier (if you do not use function keys or the keys of the numeric keypad). Also, if I remember correctly, you cannot only catch the keydown event with keybinding.
