Application Model / MVC

Update: This question was inspired by my great search for mapping ontologically the entire architecture of enchilada software systems. I wrote a blog post about this , and hopefully this helps clarify what I need.

Many, many, many event-driven frameworks and stacks have too many changes for my little head to get around. Are there any resources that define the scheme of a reasonable model of application events, what events exist and which triggers are the most common?

I have my own infrastructure with a plugin and event-driven architecture, but I want to open it up with open source code, and so she would like to approach some common ground so as not to alienate people.

So, to clarify; this application, which means setting up the environment, dependencies, data sources (for example, databases) and creating an MVC environment for creating a model, presentation, launching controllers / actions and in the GUI various stages of the interface (header, content, columns, etc.) .

Ideas? Thoughts? Pointers? (And I made it language and platform neutral at that moment)

I read your blog post, which I found extremely interesting, but ... this question does not seem to reflect the breadth of the question you submit there.
