Flash SWF files not loading during IIS compression

I have a bunch of flash files served from the HTTPS site in IIS7. When you enable content compression, flash files will not be displayed. Does Flash not support HTTP compression, or is IIS doing something unusual?

I assume that SWF files are already compressed, so most web servers do not compress them. If IIS7 compresses them, Flash Player will not know how to unpack them, and they will not be displayed.

You should not compress SWF files.
